BJ Ball asked us to express identity within the format of an A6 booklet. I find it intriging how little appearance can bely interests, so I searched out people with particularly unusual obsessions, and unassuming faces. From toy collectors to cat ladies, under each conventional portrait lay an exposé of their hidden passions.
